Spring Uniform

Everyone has their “go-to” outfit.  Some people prefer jeans and a t-shirt, some prefer workout clothes, and some prefer dresses.  I would say I definitely prefer dresses over everything else in my closet (ok, minus my large t-shirts and leggings) but not just any dress.  My #1 favorite type of dress is a comfortable, flowy, breathable dress with a high neck.  Why high neck?  It covers more and you don’t have to worry about having a sunburned chest once cookout and outdoor season comes.  Why dresses? They’re so easy! You can throw one on and instantly look put together.  Why loose and free flowing? My family has a lot of cookouts this time of year and I like to eat. This print mock neck shift dress meets all the criteria to be a comfortable and cute spring/summer go-to outfit for me.

Isn’t this dress a cute one? I just love loose flowy dresses like this and if it gets cold, you can just add a simple denim jacket to the mix. I foresee myself wearing multiple versions of this look all springtime long! Side note: I am daylight savings #1 fan and so is my dog. Evening walks by the lake have been our favorite part!
I have a couple more days before I start a new job and my schedule starts to fill back up so I am going to try and take full advantage of today and tomorrow! It has been so nice having some time off in between to really think about goals and ideas for this blog, get some wedding planning done, drive down to Charleston a few times, and just slow down a little.  I will say that I am ready to have a little more structure in my day though.  Does anybody have any work from home tips or advice?
