By the Lake

I used to make it a weekly tradition to stop into Anthropologie in Raleigh on my lunch break and just browse all of the latest arrivals. Even though I might not always have the budget to buy the new arrivals, I love getting inspired by seeing what hits the stores before each season. With the last month being absolutely crazy at work, I haven’t been there in over a month! I visited the store this past week and fell in love with a few favorites that I’ll be sharing this week! To start off, I’m sharing my number one favorite top in the store… this dark green velvet detailed swing top. How gorgeous and unique is it?! I love it. My second favorite is this summer-to-fall rancher hat that goes with just about everything!

It’s pretty rare for me to find a pair of jeans that fit perfectly so when I found these, I couldn’t leave the store without them. They’re the perfect “casual” pair of jeans, the kind I look forward to wearing on fall weekends at football games and just running errands around town. Speaking of weekends, who else is already counting down until Labor Day Weekend? I can’t believe it will be September this week! College football starts in 4 days?! I’m looking forward to September for a lot of reasons but am mind blown about how quickly the summer is flying by.
