Pilcro Denim and Sunsets at the Beach

Have you ever had a mini beach getaway even just for one night? TJ and I decided to redeem some of his hotel points this past weekend and we were so glad we did! We drove to Wrightsville Beach (just 2 hours down the road) Saturday morning and literally drove straight to the beach. We didn’t even stop to change. We went prepared in our swimsuits, dug a hole for our beach umbrella, unpacked the cooler, and relaxed on the beach until it was time to go get ready for dinner. We didn’t even have a plan for dinner and it felt pretty good to not have an agenda. We were both in need of some serious relaxation and this trip was just the right solution!

Before dinner, we stopped by the pier and watched the cotton candy sky sunset. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets I ever saw. All the pinks and blues had me needing to whip out the camera! I wore my newest favorite jeans (posted about them a couple weeks ago here) and a white lace top for a casual beach look.
