Beachy Blue Ruffles

Happy Monday! I’m at Emerald Isle with my family for the whole week so this Monday is actually a very happy one for me.  First off, this cold shoulder ruffle sleeve top is my new favorite top I own I think.  The pretty light blue is perfect for summer and nights at the beach and pairs so well with white!  I also have to let you in on a sunglasses secret– LOFT is killing it in the sunnies department and these mirrored aviators are under $25.  I pondered purchasing some Ray Ban aviators for a while but then came across these and saved $100.  I’ve lost too many pairs of sunglasses at the beach to invest in another.
On another note, I am so excited because I finally learned how to use my camera in manual mode.  All last week, I sat down and read blog after blog about how to shoot in manual and I was determined to be able to take good photos of my family at the beach.  I thought my camera was doing something funny the past few months but it turns out it is actually my blog host (Blogger) that has been making my photos grainier than usual when I increase pixel size.  Anybody have any idea on how to fix that?  I finally ended up changing the format from jpeg to png but it took hours to upload.

Anyways, I hope everyone has a great start to the week! Thanks for stopping by Pretty in the Pines.
