I’ve said this before but I’ll say it again… I could easily live in beach cover-ups. Their simplicity makes you feel like your wearing a dress but with 20x more casual vibes.  This purple and teal one in particular is a favorite of mine because 1) it incorporates some of my favorite colors (teals, pastels, etc) and 2) it’s made of a sheer material that is so easy & breezy, you never want to take it off.   I’ve always been one to very easily get sunburned so a stylish cute but also lightweight cover-up like this is essential on my vacations. I paired this purple pretty with my go-to white beach tote which complimented the cover-up perfectly.  

To be honest, I keep getting confused on what day of the week it is.  It has been so nice to just live and not worry about work and anything else all week long.  I still have a couple more full days at the beach so I’m planning on soaking up every minute of it.  Each night, we’ve been taking turns on which couple cooks dinner.  Last night’s dinner was our turn and we cooked some delicious lasagna.  One of my favorite meals though was a seafood feast my older sister and her husband cooked complete with endless crab legs, corn on the cob, steamed shrimp, and roasted potatoes.  There’s nothing like fresh crab legs and shrimp at the beach.  Yum!
