I’ve been a huge fan of over-the-knee boots for a long, long time.  The only problem I had was that most of them were so over-priced.  When I saw these suede OTK boots were under $45, I couldn’t resist.  I picked them out to complete an outfit I was planning for a French Connection + Belk event last week which I will share more details about next week.  My goal was to put together an outfit with this gorgeous oversized wool cardigan.

When I saw this oversized wool cardigan, I knew I had to have it.  It was definitely a challenge, though, to try and find the best way to wear it since the colors are so unique.  I decided to just stick with the basics and wear all black with it, which I rarely do.  I wore a little black turtleneck dress along with my go-to (you’re probably sick of me wearing it) black floppy hat. 
So, although one day I would love to own a pair of Stuart Weitzman boots, these $45 ones completed my look just fine! I even ended up ordering another pair in grey.  
I am SO thrilled it is almost Friday! I’m so beyond ready for the weekend.  I have to start planning/building my halloween costume and my sweet little cousin’s 3rd birthday party is Saturday. I’m hoping for some gorgeous fall weather and clear blue skies!
