Yay for the weekend! It’s been a busy week. I’ve had family from Rhode Island in town last weekend and this weekend, blog events, some wedding stuff, job changes, and more. The weeks seem to just fly by lately so I want to start dedicating some Friday blog posts to take a moment to slow down, share a little bit about my personal life updates, interesting posts I’ve read, and weekly outfit recaps.

Wore this striped pencil skirt and blue and white tee to a blogger event last night at J. McLaughlin in Chapel Hill. I usually wear red when I go to Chapel Hill (Go Wolfpack!) but this spring ensemble was an exception!
P || Personal Life Updates
+ I got a new job and start in the middle of March. I’ll be working for a pharmaceutical company that I used to work for a while ago and it is remote! Hooray.
+ We signed a contract last night with some wonderful wedding photographers. Check them out! I’m excited to get to know them better over the next year.
+ We also chose a wedding date – June 10th, 2017. Plenty of time to plan which I love because it takes me 5 years to make wedding decisions.
+ This weekend will involve watching my cousin play baseball at Elon, celebrating his birthday, celebrating my fiance’s dad’s birthday, and spending time with my grandma who is in town from Newport, RI. A big family weekend, for sure.
