Yay for the weekend! It’s been a busy week. I’ve had family from Rhode Island in town last weekend and this weekend, blog events, some wedding stuff, job changes, and more. The weeks seem to just fly by lately so I want to start dedicating some Friday blog posts to take a moment to slow down, share a little bit about my personal life updates, interesting posts I’ve read, and weekly outfit recaps.
Here is how it is going to work. PITP stands for Pretty in the Pines. I’ll go through the letters PITP which will also each stand for a different topic.
P – Posts this Week
I – Interests this Week (posts, articles, etc. I’ve found this week that I think you would also find interesting)
T – Threads (outfits I’ve worn this week)
P – Personal (life updates)
Let’s get to the first P!
P || Weekly Post Recap
+ An affordable striped tee worn two completely different ways.
+ A full recap of photos and details of Bouquets and Bubbly, a galentine’s day event!
+ One-pieces are “in” and so is the Shopbop Spring Sale.
I || Interesting Posts I’ve Read This Week
+ Get some good advice on sending cold emails.
+ Brides – Have you heard of Zola Registry? Sounds pretty cool!
+ Love reading about these benefits of black coffee. Now if I can just part from my SVL’s!
+ Love a good home tour. Jess Kirby’s is a cozy white living room dream!
T || Threads/Outfits this Week (that I remembered to document)
Tunic Sweater || White Skinny Jeans || Hat (similar) || Bracelet || Infinity Scarf || Watch || Booties (similar)
Love this new Triangl suit!
Wore this striped pencil skirt and blue and white tee to a blogger event last night at J. McLaughlin in Chapel Hill. I usually wear red when I go to Chapel Hill (Go Wolfpack!) but this spring ensemble was an exception!
P || Personal Life Updates
+ I got a new job and start in the middle of March. I’ll be working for a pharmaceutical company that I used to work for a while ago and it is remote! Hooray.
+ We signed a contract last night with some wonderful wedding photographers. Check them out! I’m excited to get to know them better over the next year.
+ We also chose a wedding date – June 10th, 2017. Plenty of time to plan which I love because it takes me 5 years to make wedding decisions.
+ This weekend will involve watching my cousin play baseball at Elon, celebrating his birthday, celebrating my fiance’s dad’s birthday, and spending time with my grandma who is in town from Newport, RI. A big family weekend, for sure.
Well, that is all I have for you this weekend! I hope you enjoy the weekend and let me know if you like this PITP Friday Situation.
