I don't know about you but one of my favorite weekend activities is to spend the late afternoon on the couch catching up on our favorite tv shows with TJ and Colbie. Add a glass of wine and maybe some cheddar cheese and then we're really talking. This doesn't always get to happen due to our schedules lately, especially right before the holidays, but I do think it is so important to take a break some weekends. This past Saturday afternoon we did a little bit of early holiday decorating, opened up a bottle of  Santa Margherita Wines, and devoured white cheddar cheese with whole grain crackers. We caught up with The Blacklist, one of my favorite shows, and talked about what recipes we were going to make for our families' Thanksgivings!

I've been more of a white wine fan lately and we both agreed that the perfect white wine for Thanksgiving would be Pinot Grigio. Santa Margherita Wines did not disappoint. When it comes to attending family and friends' homes for a holiday meal where a ton of cooking is involved (and any sort of event, really), I love bringing the hostess a good bottle of wine. With pumpkin pies, apple pies, and whatever other sweet and delicious post-turkey desserts planned, the Pinot Grigio is a nice dry and crisp wine that will perfectly compliment all of the Thanksgiving food!

As we get closer to the holidays, I encourage you to create joy doing the things you love most with the people you love most! Whether that is spending a cozy weekend at home with Santa Margherita Wines, taking a brisk hike to a river, whipping up some delicious recipes, or creating gifts for loved ones - enjoy each moment during the busy next couple of months!

Also, I'd love to hear what your favorite type of wine is! Leave a comment below and thanks so much for stopping by!

xo, Shelby
