Suede + Tweed

I don’t think I sat down once this weekend other than when I slept (and for not very long). My dog woke me up at the crack of dawn and we didn’t go back to sleep due to my curtains not being up yet.  My to-do list is 18 miles long.  I moved into a new place on Thursday night and Friday, had a really fun event with French Connection and Bevello on Friday night and Saturday and unfortunately had to work all Sunday.  I’ll talk more about the event later this week but I wanted to share what I wore first! 

First of all, I can already tell suede is going to be very “in” this fall and winter.  Lately, I’ve been gravitating towards suede booties, suede skirts, and suede handbags whenever I’m shopping. I don’t know what it is about it… especially grey suede.  Anyways, I wore this frilly but sophisticated suede sleeveless top with a versatile tweed skirt on Saturday and the top had to have been one of my favorite pieces in all of Bevello.  Not to mention, this tweed skirt is going to be on major repeat… it goes with everything from a fancy blouse to a simple tee.  Shout-out to Zelle and Sarah for snapping these pics this weekend.  Also, a lot of people ask me who normally takes photos for my blog and it is my boyfriend, TJ.  He is the best and I truly can’t thank him enough for all the support.
